"Siblings" is the second piece in the collection inspired by cave formations, featuring two separate entities bound together like conjoined twins. The pair stands upright with an almost ceremonial presence, as if posing for a family portrait. Their creature-like character gives them distinct personalities while their solid connection speaks to a firm bond. Larger in scale than other pieces, it displays five downward-pointing cones that appear formed by slow dripping or melting, with their gentle curves suggesting patient flow. Horizontal patterns across the aluminum surface mirror sedimentary layers, with each line recording time's passage. The piece captures intimacy of two beings that have grown together, shaped by the same forces, standing as witnesses to time while bringing character to contemporary spaces.
